Long and shiny hair is no new demand of ladies. From time immemorial, there have been various hacks and tips to maintain hair and increase its shine. We bring you some of these tips that can guarantee long shiny hair.
Our hair needs nourishment just like our skin. There are a variety of oils with their own advantage. Castor oil is good for re-growth of hair; almond oil is full of vitamin-e which gives shine and nourishment to hair. Olive oil provides good volume to hair.
How to do-
Microwave 2 tablespoons of olive oil for 15 seconds then add two tablespoons of castor oil and one tablespoon of almond oil.This mixture should be adequately applied to the roots and tip of the hair and should be massaged in such a way that it penetrates the scalp and should be left overnight. The results will be felt after a month, and for better results, it should be continued for six months.
2. Shampoo on MWF
Monday, Wednesday and Friday , that’s what MWF stands for . Washing hair on these alternative days schedule will help your hair be clean and won’t get too much dry as you’re not washing it daily. A good shampoo should be used according to your hair type.
3. Milk wash
Milk does a lot of qualities it moisturises the hair, adds shine and helps to grow the hair long. So you can make a hair mask including it and help your hair grow whenever you get a break.
How to do –
On the day you want to shampoo your hair take half a bowl of milk, make it on the palm and apply on the scalp. Shampoo it after a few minutes.
4. Resist hair dryer
Instead of using that hair dryer to dry up your hair , just wrap it up in a towel. After some time , massage your scalp with yiur fingers . It will dry up your hair and also increase blood circulation.
5. Curd and honey
These two are amazing as hair masks. Honey adds lustre to hair and curd is rich in magnesium and potassium.
How to do-
Take four tablespoons of curd, add one tablespoon of honey in that. Apply it for 15 minutes after mixing it well. Shampoo it after that and get the result.
6. Milk with almond oil
Well this is not for applying on hair , but to drink. Milk is full of proteins and a complete diet in itself. When combined with almond oil which provides vitamin-e. It becomes a complete food for hair even for a skin. Make it mandatory to have a cup of warm milk with a teaspoon of almond oil before going to bed.
